MACA provides members the opportunity to obtain and exchange information on plan design and industry trends on topics such as base pay, variable compensation, employee benefits, and policy deployment.

The fourth meeting of the 2011-2012 season was held March 15th at the Aurora Conference Center. Mark Avery, Persident of MarketPay will present "Market Compensation Data and its Role in Today's Pay Programs" discussed current trends in how market data is being used in today's top organizations.
The third meeting of the 2011-2012 season was held January 19 at the Italian Community Center. Brian Repsold and Stephanie Kessler, of Verisight's Compensation Advisory Services Practice discussed the highlights from their recent Compensation, Retirement and Benefits Trends report. In addition, Bill Bowbin of The Hay Group presented Titles Aren't Cheap, In Fact, They are Actually Very Expensive. This session explored the value titles convey for an organization, the implications on talent management, job matching, benefit costs and employee expectations.
The second meeting of the 2011-2012 season was held November 17 at Time Warner Cable. Attorney Frank Gumina of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. presented a very informative session on Wage and Hour Strategies-Containing Labor Costs in Tough Economic Times, This session covered the legal implications of cost containment strategies such as furloughs, reduced workweeks and reduced wages or salary.
The first meeting of the 2011-2012 was held September 15 at the Blue Mound Golf and Country Club. Alex Weisgerber and Rick Sherwood of Towers Watson provided a briefing summarizing the latest US trends in a very informative session on rewards and talent management priorities. Drawing from fresh research conducted over the last several months.

Our members represent a variety of employers from manufacturing, banking, insurance, health care, retail, publishing, utility, education, government, and consulting organizations.
We are an independent organization; however, as part of the World at Work Local Network of the Woodwork (formerly the American Compensation Association), we can provide our members additional services, including training and nationally known speakers. (Woodwork membership is not required to join MACA).
