Milwaukee Area Compensation Association (MACA) is a professional organization of human resources specialists from the greater Milwaukee area. MACA provides members the opportunity to obtain and exchange information on plan design and industry trends on topics such as base pay, variable compensation, employee benefits, and policy deployment.
Final Meeting of 2008/2009 MACA Season Held
Thank you for a great year!
The fifth and final meeting of MACA's 2008/2009 was held at Friday's Front Row - Brew Room, Miller Park on May 21, 2009. The technology committee provided a sneak peak of some upcoming website enhancements including on-line membership enrollment. In addition, a speed networking activity was hosted providing an excellent opportunity for members to get to know each other.
Forth Meeting of 2008/2009 MACA Season Held
The forth meeting of MACA's 2008/2009 season was held on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Aurora Health Care's Conference Center.
Theresa Essig, of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, discussed the impact of the new administration. Topics included, The Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009, executive pay, The Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA), minimum wage.

We are an independent organization; however, as part of the World at Work Local Network of the WorldatWork (formerly the American Compensation Association), we can provide our members additional services, including training and nationally known speakers. (WorldatWork membership is not required to join MACA).
