Job Summary:Develops, implements, and administers compensation strategies and programs within the organization on a regional or global basis depending on plan type. Assesses competitive practice and the organization’s competitive position to ensure compensation programs and processes align with the business and its Compensation Philosophy.


Requirements:Key Job Accountabilities:

•Responsible for design and anlaysis of executive compensation programs for review by CEO and compensation committee. Provides executive compensation leadership for authoring portions of the CD&A and Summary Compensation Table for the annual Proxy statement.
•Applies knowledge of equity and long-term incentive vehicles to determine plan effectiveness and model proposed plans to ensure viability of design and expenseLeads the development and communication of all Change of Control program documents and performs analysis to determine appropriate participation

•Leads the research and implementation of projects including salary structure development, new compensation models, incentive programs, alternative reward methods, strategically focused programs and policy design
•Generates, administers, and distributes annual program communication for short-term incentive compensation plans, long-term incentive/equity plans, salary plans, and other compensation programs

•Performs complex analysis and creates materials for meetings of the Compensation Committee on matters including executive compensation, incentive plans, change of control, long-term incentives, and board of directors compensation

Additional Accountabilities & Job Functions:

•Provides training to operational HR staff and other business partners on compensation programs and administrative procedures based on identified need

•Develops and maintains educational materials including communication and training programs for appropriate business partners and employees on compensation programs
•Manages relationships with vendors and outsourcing providers to ensure that employees and customers receive the best possible services
•Provides ongoing audits of all compensation programs with suggestions for improvements and changes
•Monitors the cost effectiveness and consistency of program application
•Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated %)
•Additional duties as assigned by management
Education/Experience:

•A minimum of a(n) Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience is required for this position; a(n) Bachelors Degree in HR, Accounting, or Finance is preferred.

•Experience of 3 year(s) is required for this position, assuming education requirements are met. Equivalent industry experience of 5 or more years is highly desirable.

•PHR, CCP, or CEP certifications are a plus


Skills/Abilities:

•Self-motivated with the ability to follow through on assignments with little to no supervision

•Ability to maintain objectivity and possess pro-active problem solving skills, along with the ability to make timely and effective recommendations to resolve problems as they arise

•Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, research, quantitative analysis and organizational skills are paramount for the employee to successfully perform in this position

•Avanced decision making, problem solving skills

•Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively deal and interact with all levels within the organization

•Verbal and written skills necessary to effectively communicate complex concepts to others
